Little bit of redesigning…. while the legging worked, it worked for all the wrong reasons…. distilled down to what worked what didn’t….. the stocking itself didn’t…. tried ribbons, stockings, garters and all manner of evil but every time they got near the shorts they just seemed to overwhelm the detail on the shorts…. What did work on the ruffled legging, the interest on the stockings were all down around the ankle and the flare effect seemed to balance out the overall effect of the skirt by drawing a little attention to the ankle…. but still left me with the problem of what to do with the stocking tops that wouldn’t steal attention away from the shorts…

Anyway, in the end, the stockings themselves seemed distracting and not really adding to the effect at all, in fact they were fighting with it… deleted all but the ruffle and the ruffle seemed way too solid so replaced it with ribbons and added some more details…. think this works out much better.

Thanks for the encouragement to go with my first instincts…. Should have scrapped the stocking ideas from the first when I couldn’t make them work with the shorts. Anklet of ribbons seems better.
